The Oregon Ghost Conference, the Northwest’s largest paranormal convention, descends on Oregon
City this April 10th – 12th. The fourth annual event includes guest speakers, authors, and paranormal investigators from across the west coast. Special events include ghost tours, main stage entertainment, paranormal investigations, classes, live radio shows, social events, and more.
General Admission at the Oregon Ghost Conference:
Always been curious, but a little afraid? General admission is free and gets you access to the vendor area, all the conference speakers, and panel presentations. The vendor area has over 30 paranormal investigation groups from across the Northwest. Conference speakers range in topic from the scientific study of paranormal phenomenon, the legendary haunted Queen Mary ship, haunted real estate, past lives, and more.
Notable speakers include Jay Verburg from the hit SyFy show Ghost Mine, animal communicator Karen Anderson, Aaron Collins from the show Paranormal Crossings, and many more. For a full schedule of conference speakers
Entertainment at the Oregon Ghost Conference:
An Evening of Comedy with Marcus from NBC’s Last Comic Standing! April 10th, 8:30pm Comedian/ impressionist Marcus first rose to public attention with his appearance on the hit NBC series, Last Comic Standing, where he made it all the way to runner up. Since then, Marcus has been touring the United States consistently, performing at colleges, theaters, and comedy clubs around the United States. While on tour he films Ghost Hopping – his own ghost hunting and paranormal investigation YouTube series. Ghost Tours at the Oregon Ghost Conference
The nation’s longest graveyard, the Oregon Trail, ended right here in Oregon City. The original capital of the Oregon Territory, the town’s history is riddled with scandal, intrigue, and violence – a perfect formula for paranormal activity, ghost sightings, and hauntings. Northwest Ghost Tours will lead guests on guided walking tours of Oregon City. The tours weave together dozens of stories, paranormal experiences, and historical facts to help tell the haunted and sordid history of Oregon’s oldest town.
Paranormal Investigations at the Oregon Ghost Conference
Get a chance to go on a real investigation with some of the west coast’s most experienced paranormal investigators. The Oregon Ghost conference will sponsor two investigations of active paranormal locations in Oregon City. Exact locations to be announced at the conference.
About the Oregon Ghost Conference Director
Rocky began researching paranormal activity in Oregon City in 1995 and has documented close to 100 haunted places within the city. A well known historian and ghost expert, Rocky has been featured on local radio and television, has spoken at several paranormal conferences, and has been featured in books including Ghost Stories of Oregon by Susan Smitten. In 2006 Rocky combined his love for history and knowledge of the paranormal when he founded Northwest Ghost Tours, offering paranormal walking tours in Oregon City. Rocky was awarded Oregon City’s Citizen of the Year Award in 2013 and is currently the Director of the quickly growing Oregon Ghost Conference.
