Possessed Puppet Captured on CCTV Camera Moving
Possessed Puppet Captured on CCTV Camera Moving
Paranormal Investigator Jayne Harris acquired the puppet after its previous owner claimed it tried to choke him to death.
Taking no chances she placed it in to a specially made glass case and locked it in, as well she set up a CCTV camera so as to monitor the puppet 24hour per day.
After 3 months with nothing happening she was shocked when the puppets control cross moved into an upright position before falling over on to the glass side of the case.
Jayne who is a trained psychologist, has made a specialty of investigating spiritual attachment to haunted puppets for the past 17 years, and took this latest old man puppet in last November after its former owner claimed to have been choked by a spirit connected to the puppet and was also experiencing bad nightmares.
She said, “I’ve never had anything as exciting as this. I’ve caught pictures of mists, orbs and shadows but nothing as physical as this video evidence.”
“Normally you expect to see an orb or a shadow, but as soon as I saw a bit of movement and a glint from the metal hooks it made me jump and I knew we’d recorded something important.”
“We’ve always kept the puppet in a sealed blessed cabinet as it’s a safe zone. It also means we can keep our experiments as controlled as possible.”
“The cabinet has no doors, so you would have to physically lift all four sides and the base off to move it, there are not any holes or space for anything to sneak in there either.”
“For us there is no point in faking your own evidence as it’s only tricking yourself – this footage is real.”
“Now we’re going to keep filming with motion sensors as this is just one video and we want to build a bigger picture currently we don’t know the name or anything else about the spirit.”
“Our ultimate goal is to find out as much as we can about the spirit and then try to understand why he is still here.”
Jayne said that she keeps the puppet inside a container blessed by holy water and secluded in her basement.
“A medium said the spirit attached to the dolls is an old man who is mocking us as he can pass in and out of our sealed box.”
“The container is only a physical thing so in theory something that’s not of the physical world could pass in and out.”
“Since obtaining him there have been strange bumps and knocking sounds, but nothing we could definitively say was the puppet until this video.”
“This video evidence is real and more difficult for us to disprove than people believing they have had paranormal experiences from other haunted dolls.”
John, the puppet’s former owner didn’t want to release his full name, said he inherited the 1960s toy after his father’s death.
He sais that he had a few minor haunting experiences which gradually built up to one evening where he believes the spirit attached to the puppet started to choke him.
Explaining he said, “I cleared out all of my dad’s belongings apart from the puppet, which I left on the drawer by my bed for some reason and that night it felt like I was being choked.”
“I was wide awake in bed and thought I saw a shadow move from one side of the window to the other and worried something was trying to scare us.”
“Then without warning my throat suddenly went really tight, I’ve never had anyone’s hands around my throat before so it was really scary.”
“While I was choking I tried to wake my wife but it took her ages to come round.”
“When she did I remember looking straight at the puppet sitting on the drawers near our bed and realizing it was him.”
John added that the first haunting experience began just two weeks after inheriting the puppet, which he kept because it was one of his father’s favorite possessions.
Saying, “My first memory of it was when I was 19, it used to hang in my Dad’s spare room.”
“I never liked it and people would never sleep in the same room as the puppet because there was a weird atmosphere in the room.”
“It was 2 weeks after inheriting the puppet I started to get really bad headaches and feeling dizzy, which I never thought could be the puppet.”
“I struggled to sleep because I’d have nightmares where an old man would be holding me down or sitting at the edge of my bed.”
John finally contacted Jayne after the choking incident, who started to investigate the puppet.
Saying, “Jayne used an electro-magnetic-field (EMF) reader, which helps detect paranormal activity, around my house and when I gave her the puppet the meter started flashing and beeping.”
“Once Jayne took away the doll both me and my wife felt much better. The fact that there’s video evidence now makes me uncomfortable to be honest, I wouldn’t watch it as I don’t need any more proof that it was haunted.”

Ian Rogers HAUNTED dolls collection
Ian Rogers, 36, a vehicle inspector, from Leicester, England, believes he has spirits of the dead living in his dolls.
Ian says that he got hooked on all things paranormal when he was a kid and had his first ghost hunt in 2000.
“It all started when I was a kid and I was looking into the Loch Ness Monster and ghosts,” he said.
“I went on a couple of ghost walks and then went on a hunt. It got me hooked.”
The haunted dolls, which Ian collects from Jayne Harris, who is a professional in paranormal activity, are said to contain the spirits of people who have died.
Ian says that he keeps the dolls for about six months to get an idea of their personalities before selling.
Ian said that he only get dolls from Jayne because that way he can be sure that they possess as spirit.
“I know that I can trust her. If I bought them from eBay then there’s no guarantee that they’re actually haunted and I could just be getting ripped off.”
“Jayne is able to give me a bit of background about the dolls but I enjoy learning about them myself.”
Ian said he has a favorite doll he has named Annabel, this doll he believes is haunted by the spirit of a 7 year-old girl who drowned while playing with her brother.
Ian like to take his dolls to shows and tries to get other investigators to try and figure out what might have happened to spirit’s residing in the dolls.
Saying, “If someone guesses three things that we already know correctly then they get some money off the sale price.”
“One lady said she could sense an ‘Annie’ so I went to get Annabel. She said she’d died and felt trapped.”
“As soon as she picked up the doll she said she felt soaking wet, and that she knew Annabel had drowned.”
Ian likes to invite people interested in the paranormal to take part in a variety of activities with the dolls.
The dolls were once shared with Ian’s sister, but she wanted to be rid of them after several creepy events happened, such hiding her keys.
Ian said he hasn’t been put off in the slightest over such incidents and is looking at buying other supernatural souvenirs.
“I would love to get more haunted dolls, and I’m looking for other items such as a haunted mirror.”
Ian’s haunted doll collection to date:
Annabel: A seven-year-old girl who drowned while playing with her brother. A happy child usually wearing a floral dress.
