Guest Bedroom

Guest Bedroom

I was staying at a friend’s house. We live in Hawaii and he and his family are native Hawaiian. Anyways, they say there house is like a little haunted and I didn’t really believe them. They said there would be weird creaks around the house that come often enough that you don’t really think about them. One night, while I was sleeping in the guest bedroom, I woke up with an asthma attack. I shot up in bed and thought I saw a arm waving side to side in the closet, moving the clothes with it. I used my inhaler and turned on the light and nobody was in the closet. I thought it was just part of a dream and turned the lights back off and fell asleep.

I woke up again with an asthma attack in the middle of the night to someone waving their arm side to side halfway across the room. I turned on the light and they were gone. I thought it was either my friend or his mom (again I was like half asleep and still a little delirious). I fell back asleep.

I woke up a third time to the ghostly figure waving its hand above me in bed. I threw my fist against the wall behind me and turned on the light. It was gone.

I didn’t fall asleep again that night. When I told my friend in the morning, he told me it was probably an ancestor trying to protect the house from an invader.

FYNK James: 8/10 That ancestor could perhaps find a less spooky way to do his job. Thanks for sharing the scares!

The Dream

The Dream

Now before I tell you this story, I want you to know you may be opening yourself up to a similar experience. Trust me, that’s not something you want.
I’ll refer to the experience as a dream because I hope to god that that’s all it was, for my own sanity.
You’ve been warned.

A little backstory: I live with my boyfriend who works night shift at the local grocery Store so he goes to work about 11pm-8am. We have large dogs so we’d always felt safe enough to leave the doors unlocked, not anymore.

The night started off fairly normally, I crawled into bed just as my boyfriend was leaving for work. My dog was curled up on top of the blankets next to my thighs on the inside of the bed. I fell asleep fairly quickly.
I don’t know what it was exactly that woke me up, Maybe my subconscious just knew there was something terribly wrong. I opened my eyes to darkness and that hair raising feeling of being watched. It took a few minutes for my eyes to adjust but once they did I became paralyzed with fear.
There just by my knees was a mans figure perched on the edge of the bed. He was facing me, through the darkness I could see no defining details about him except for the fact that he seemed to be wearing a hat of some sort with a medium brim. He was leaning toward me; slightly resting his hand on the bed on the other side of my knees. Just watching me. I felt it then, the heaviness of the air that only comes from something horribly evil being present. Terror wracked through my body at that moment. My first thought was ‘holy shit there is a demon in my room.’ Demons scare me more than anything (seriously you can’t really fight them, so you’re kinda fucked). I began to physically shake with fear but the man didn’t seem to notice. That’s when I remembered my dog, I flashed my eyes over to her to find her sleeping soundly. Not inches away from the mans hand. This comforted me slightly; everyone knows dogs freak out in the presence of the supernatural.
I won’t be able to do this next part justice, I’ve sat here for several minutes trying to think the proper way to describe it to you. It felt as if my mind had been turned to mush. Or like I had been drugged. Intense confusion and fear wracked my being and my whole body tensed, the muscles in my back straining as I looked up at ceiling. Spots blurred my vision.

It was too much for me to handle and I blacked out. When I woke up next the man was no where to be seen but I felt like some how he was still there, watching me. the feeling of being drugged remained but it was diminished quite a bit.

For the first time in a long time I prayed.

FYNK James: 9/10 Those wide-brim hat fuckers always scare me. Something about their attire. Thanks for sharing the scares!

F*** off Slenderman!

F*** off Slenderman!

I’ve had a few creepy experiences, sure. The only one that still makes me wonder to this day happened in middle school.

When I was around 15 I started developing headaches. Nasty ones, almost mirgrane like due to it running in the family. These would sometimes wake me up and cause me to lose sleep, so this was almost a common occurence. Usually, I’d just sit up in bed and look out the window of my second floor window. I’d fall asleep after a while.

One night during the summer, it happened again; I sat up with a splitting headache. I followed my usual routine, got some water and advil and watched the dark, street light illuminated sidewalk. It always carried a calming peace to it.

Tonight, something was off. Across the street on my neighbors sidewalk stood a lamppost, shining orange light down below.

Standing in the light, a lone figure. Rather tall, human (I guess?) and dressed in dark clothes I couldn’t make out. Due to the street light over head, it almost seemed like he had no face. He probably did, but the possibility that he didn’t still rang around my head.

I rubbed my eyes hard, making sure this wasn’t a trick of my eyes or the light.

Nope, this was real. And another unsettling discovery: He was looking at my house. And in particular, MY window. It wasn’t obvious, but the more I studied the male figure, I could feel a foreign gaze directed to me.

At this point, a few emotions were swimming in my head: Fear, confusion, bewilderment. But mostly, pain. Some conecction in my pain addled head said: “Psst, this guy is giving you this headache.” So thusly, Fear and Anxiety became overridden by annoyance. He was still unnerving and creepy, but I really didn’t want to stay up and be petrified by him.

SO, the next logical thing to do, was simple.

I flipped him off. And promptly fell back into bed. As humorous as this sounds, my head still pumped those fear induced chemicals in my head as I did this but the rest of me wanted to sleep and be free from my headache too, so…

Interestingly, and terrifyingly, the figure reacted. He tilted his head in a way that signifies he WAS looking directly at me, and also that he seemed offended. Almost like: “Uhm… Rude???”

The next morning, my headache was gone completely. Odd, because normally they have an after affect in the morning, but it was as if it never existed in the first place. I never saw this figure again, and tbh I hope I don’t.

Also: Slenderman, if that WAS you, I apolgize for flipping you off. If that was just some random dude, f*** you dude.

FYNK James: 7/10 Interesting strategy. Let’s see how it pays off.

That sounds wild and I personally have no idea but perhaps one of my followers does!

Go team!
