Retired Cop spots 911 Ghost

Retired New York Police Sgt. Frank Marra claims to have seen a ghost while sifting through 911 debris.

In his new book called From Landfill to Hallowed Ground, Frank recalls his experience searching through the rubble of the World Trade Center attacks from September 2001 to February 2002 at Fresh Kills landfill site.

In the book he said he saw a black lady wearing what looked like a WW2 Red Cross uniform holding a tray of sandwiches.

Thinking it was just a volunteer trying to help out, he quickly forgot the encounter, it was later when he talked to a retired detective who mentioned the ghost that he remembered.

The detective asked if he ever heard stories about the “old Red Cross worker trying to serve sandwiches and coffees out by the sifters’.

Frank said, “It hit me like a ton of bricks; I had put that memory dormant. It just reminded me that I remembered seeing her.”

Frank says he has seen her a few times, always from more than 50 yards away. And each time, as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing, the ghostly lady vanished.

“But you could clearly see it was a person,” he said.

Other cops also seen this ghost and other strange things, including shadows and “large black masses,” claimed Frank, who was the supervisor of the World Trade Center vehicle impound section of the landfill.

A psychic medium has talked about the incident with him and what he saw may have been a spirit called a “soul collector”, guiding people to the afterlife.

Parts and fragments of bodies were found in the wreckage, but the remains of 1,000 victims were never found, he said.

Besides the Red Cross worker, other cops and volunteers witnessed seeing other strange things while working in the landfill from shadows to large black masses.

The retired cop who now lives in New Jersey with his wife and three sons said, “As time passed we realized how many people’s ashes and DNA still remain at the landfill.”

“It was clear this became a holy ground, a place of rest for many who would never be recovered, a cemetery without tombstones.”
