Mouth #Cemetery in White River Township, #Michigan was established in 1851, however it is believed that an unknown number of men and women were buried in unmarked #graves throughout the location beginning in 1830. The land where the old cemetery now sits was also the site of a bloody battle between two #NativeAmerican tribes before being discovered by #European settlers. Those visiting Mouth Cemetery often report encountering the #spirit of a young girl dressed in a white dress, as well as the spectral figures of numerous other unidentified men and women. Many also report hearing the sounds of #DisembodiedVoices and footsteps, or screams which emanate from the surrounding woods late at night. Mouth Cemetery is also the final resting place of Captain William Robinson, who passed away in 1919 and is said to haunt the nearby White River #Lighthouse.
