Mordecai Lincoln Mill & Homestead in Scituate,…

Mordecai Lincoln Mill & Homestead in Scituate, Massachusetts:

The Mordecai #Lincoln Mill & #Homestead was originally constructed in 1690 by a man named #Mordecai Lincoln, the great-great-great grandfather of #AbrahamLincoln, who served as the 16th #president of the #UnitedStates between 1861 and 1865. The location is said to be #haunted by the #spirit of a young girl who drowned while #swimming in the small #pond just outside the old #mill building, and residents living in nearby houses often report hearing the sounds of disembodied voices and screams late at night. The building is currently owned by the Scituate #Historical Society, but is not open to the public at this time.
