The Drowned Man’s Ghost Tries to Claim a New Victim for the Sea, Thorvald Niss (1842-1905)  

Well that’s just rude. Firstly, ghosts aren’t folklore water spirits who try to drown you. (And let’s be honest, even the water spirits only drown guys who keep bothering them when they’re bathing…) And secondly Mr Niss… Thorvald – can I call you Thorvald? Great. Um… I hate to be the one to tell you this, but, uh… that’s just a skeleton. Literal bones. And they don’t tend to drown people either…
