It Wasn't Me.

baker-p-i submitted:

A few years ago, some friends and I decided to spend a night at a hotel that is famous for being haunted in my City. The Fort Garry Hotel.

Many things happened that night but the scariest thing that happened was when all of us had fallen asleep. The suite in the hotel was two rooms, connected by a small hallway. Two of us were sleeping in the living room while the rest of us were sleeping in the master bedroom. Three of my friends were sleeping on the king sized bed, another friend was asleep beside the bed on the floor, and I was sleeping on the floor at the foot of the bed, watching television.

Over in the corner behind me was a reading armchair with a lamp overhead, which faced the bed. I was the last one to sleep, watching TV until 4:30 AM.

I woke up the next day to my friend and his girlfriend whispering to each other so as to not wake the others. I got up from my place on the floor at the foot of the bed and was immediately met with my friend staring at me in fear.

He had asked me why I had moved from the armchair during the night. I am a very deep sleeper, and when I sleep I don’t move until I wake up again so I told him I had fallen asleep at the foot of the bed and had not moved. My friend disagreed and said that at 4:50 AM he had woken up thinking that the alarm had gone off, and when he looked over at the armchair I was sitting in it. He said he saw me clearly, and said the light from the television was reflecting of my glasses.

He also said that in his confusion over seeing me in the armchair staring at the television he told me to go to sleep. He then said that I looked at him and with the light still glinting off my glasses I had said “I was just about to…”

I maintained that I had not moved since I fell asleep 20 minutes before that.
