Is there anybody out there?

sexy-sexy-hydrocarbons submitted:

I’ve never had sleep paralysis before, but this morning (Labor Day), I was sleeping in when I heard a car horn blare outside. I’ve only lived in the city (Pittsburgh) since July, so I’m not used to loud traffic sounds yet. Though annoyed, I decided to keep sleeping.

But then I heard the screen door to my apartment rattle, and someone fidgeting with the doorknob. Heavy shoes walked slowly across my kitchen floor and stopped at the entrance to my bedroom (it’s a small apartment, just those two rooms).

I had hoped that it was my lover, who had been here just yesterday, come to surprise me. But when he came over yesterday, he politely announced himself as he walked in. This person was silent. It suddenly occurred to me that, if my lover could have gotten in, that meant the door was unlocked. If the door was unlocked, then anyone could have gotten in.

I felt scared, but I couldn’t move or open my eyes. I tried to ask who was there, but I couldn’t move my mouth. I heard a few shuffling footsteps across the rug to my bed. I sensed a person standing over me. Then I felt–literally FELT!–a finger trace my bare shoulder.

I struggled and struggled to wake up. I found I could very slightly shake my head, so I kept doing it until I could open my eyes and look around. No one in my bedroom. They could be hiding in the bathroom. Wrapping my sheet around me, I checked the whole apartment.

No one was here. The door was locked.

But the rug next to my bed is askew.

Fuck Yeah Nightmares Mod James: 7/10 Hmm! I wish I had gotten to this one in time for labor day but i just missed it. Thanks for sharing the scares!
