Curwood Castle Museum in #Owosso, #Michigan:

Curwood #Castle in Owosso, Michigan was constructed in 1922 by a famous #American #author and journalist named James Oliver Curwood. James Curwood was renowned as being one of the most popular and influential #authors of the 1920’s, and is credited with publishing 33 novels and 364 short stories before passing away at the age of 49. After his #death in 1927 #CurwoodCastle was left to the town of Owosso, and was later converted into a #museum. The #historic building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, and is rumored to be #haunted by three unidentified #spirits. Many visitors to the museum report encountering #apparitions and #ShadowFigures, while motorists passing by the location at night also claim to witness a number of spirits gathered outside. Some pedestrians have also reported observing dark silhouettes in the windows, even late at night, long after the museum has closed.
