Cordley #Lake in Hamburg Township, Michigan is said to be #haunted by the #spirit of a man and woman who were killed in a #robbery during the late 1920’s. Their bodies were brought from the location of the robbery to the center of Cordley Lake where they were later discovered by townsfolk. Now, swimmers at the lake report hearing the sounds of disembodied screams, as if the couple is somehow reliving their tragic #murder. Those #hiking on the surrounding #trails at night also report witnessing a mysterious shadowy figure, and hearing the disembodied sounds of a horse being ridden.
