Botsford Inn in Farmington, Michigan:The Botsford #Inn in…

Botsford Inn in Farmington, Michigan:

The Botsford #Inn in Farmington, #Michigan was constructed in 1836 as a farmhouse, which was converted into a #tavern in 1841 and served as a popular stagecoach stop for many years. The inn was purchased in 1924 by #HenryFord, who had previously spent time there with his wife, Clara. After Henry Ford passed away in 1947 and Clara Ford passed in 1950, guests and employees at the Botsford Inn began to report encountering their spectral figures in the old #ballroom at night, where it’s said they spent many nights dancing when they were alive. Many employees have also reported experiencing other strange #paranormal phenomena, such as lights turning on and off by themselves, and objects being moved or rearranged by an unseen #entity. In 2007 the Botsford Inn was purchased by Botsford #Hospital, and is now part of the Botsford Hospital Complex. The Botsford Inn was added to the National Register of #Historic Places in September of 1979, and was renowned as being the oldest operating inn in the state of Michigan until it’s closure in 2007.
