News Crew Attacked by Ghost
A news cameraman was scratched and burned while filming a haunted Pennsylvania property.
Tom and Deanna Simpson have lived at the Maple Avenue, Hanover, home for seven years now and they claim more than five ghosts and demons constantly harass them.
They also claim that people are being scratches inside the house.
FOX 43’s Nick Petrillo said he was scratched and thought his hand burning just a minutes into filming an interview with Deanna Simpson.
“Because you’re telling the story. Because you’re putting it out there, right now that is their way of a warning,” Deanna Simpson said.
Deanna said it all began when she dreamed two men were standing over her and when she awoke, they were standing beside her bed staring at her.
In another incident, she looked into her bathroom mirror and saw the reflection of a dead, girl lying on the floor.
“It’s beyond anyone’s belief, it’s horrible” Deanna Simpson said to The Evening Sun.
“It started with lots of small things, the sound of footsteps, doors closing on their own, and crying and sobbing coming from empty rooms.”
The Simpsons said they have photographs as a seven-foot-tall shadowy figure.
“I have some demon here that is protecting me, some women here that are protecting me, but the majority are bad, dark forces, inhuman,” she said.
The couple found out their house was haunted after moving in. And now they can’t find a buyer, or cleanse the home of demons despite many visits from priests, mediums and paranormal investigators.
“This house is not like the haunting people talk about with a drawer opening on its own,” Deanna said to YDR. “That’s mild, that’s wonderful. This is hell.”
Ghostly Orb Spotted in Liverpool Pub
CCTY in Allerton Hall in Liverpool, captured these images of a ghostly orb floating across the pub.
Called ‘The Pub In The Park’ supernatural incidents have been reported for years in the 17th century building.
Owned by pub chain, The Spirit Company, manager Joe McCann is excited that on Monday night he managed to capture “hard evidence”.
Watching the clip dozens of times, Mr McCann said, “It was a very strange thing to see.”
“We’ve all been talking about it and trying to figure out what it is.”
“Ghost hunters here in the past have found some strange things like orbs and other supernatural activity.”
They said,”It’s a different kind of spirit to what we usually deal.”
“I’m not a believer in ghosts but my girlfriend Susan was convinced she’d seen something supernatural.”
“When we played the footage back I couldn’t believe my eyes.”
The building in Allerton served as the National Fire Service headquarters during the war.
It was built in the early 1600s for the Lathoms, a prominent family in South Lancashire, but they were accused of treason after the civil war and their land and building were seized.
The town’s mayor, Richard Percival took over the estate in 1670 and was passed down in the family for two generations.
In 1736, the Percivals ad financial troubles and were forced to sell MP John Hardman, who had constructed most of the building which we see today.
Apon his death, Hardman handed Allerton Hall to his butler’s son, the celebrated politician, historian, and philanthropist William Roscoe.
He had the house renovated in 1811, pulling down the remaining 17th century parts and the built a library and art space.
Paranormal Investigation at Stanley Palace, Chester
This footage appears to have captured three ghostly apparitions on camera in one of the most famous haunted buildings in north-west England.
Sefton Paranormal Investigators caught the figures on camera during a guided tour of Stanley Palace in Chester.
They claim the images show three children, “We couldn’t believe what we could see. There are clearly three figures, which I think are most likely children, on the staircase behind Jo and Aaron,” they said.
“If you look closely you can see her facial features as she turns her head, and her hair looks liked its curled.”
“When we told everyone from the group they were excited, they all want to go back again.”
“On the footage you can clearly see Joanne switch on her light, as she was aware of something across the room but they didn’t see anything at the time.”
‘We have caught quite a few spiritual happenings on camera. There is no trickery involved, we only use a VCR and infra-red cameras,” he added.
The Sefton Paranormal Investigators company was started by Ms Robinette, with her son and Alan Mee five years ago. They have since been joined by volunteers Joanne May and Brian Harrison.
Mr Harrison 24, said, “The curator told us that there was a staircase with a door underneath it, where a man died.”
“In the video, Jo and I are sat on the staircase calling out to spirits.”
“Nothing happened, but it was only when watching the video later that I saw it. It appears and then disappears in front of the camera.”
“We try to disprove it and if we can’t find a natural explanation, like shadows or reflections, it’s the main reason I believe I can categorize it as paranormal.”
